We're seeking a founding engineer as one of our first technical hires. You'll work with our CTO to build the future operating system for real estate. This isn't a typical engineering role. You'll ship features that directly impact our growth, make architectural decisions that will scale with us to Series A, and help build the engineering culture from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Build customer-facing features across our TypeScript/React (Next.js) frontend and Python/FastAPI backend
- Connecting and productize data from various flat-files, APIs, and databases
- Implement AI workflows that analyze markets and generate recommendations
- Collaborate with product and leadership to scope and ship features end-to-end
- Participate in code review, architecture discussions, and early engineering hiring
Technical Skills We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- 3+ years building production web applications with Python and TypeScript
- Strong SQL skills across both transactional (PostgreSQL) and analytical (BigQuery/Snowflake) workloads
- Experience architecting full data pipelines on modern data stacks (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran)
- Deployed and managed applications on a major cloud platform
Bonus points for:
- Experience building customer-facing integrations (Salesforce, webhooks, event-driven APIs)
- Familiarity with data pipelines or modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran)
- Worked with mapping libraries (Maplibre, Deck.gl)
- Experience with AI/LLM-driven features
- Early-stage startup experience where you owned projects end-to-end
